A Message from our Chair
I want to personally stand and applaud each of you who volunteered, who canvassed, who worked an event and who became a part of this amazing group. All of you who put in the time to become involved, talked to people, and who voted.
I had planned a more celebratory post. Now we are astonished. We are disappointed. Many are now afraid. The work we did and the progress we did make wasn't for nothing. It mattered. You matter. Let's take a collective breath. Let's take time to take care of ourselves and to care for others. We are not done.

"Let us remember the Democratic Party is engaged in a campaign to save democracy and preserve for our children and grandchildren the rights and freedoms our ancestors fought to win. The Democratic Party is not now, and has never been, a cult of personality committed to a single person or a single view. We are, and always have been, the party of principle, the party of inclusion and the party of progress. Campaign 2024 will change but this will not change these basic facts of the Democratic Party:
- We are the Party of Freedom.
- We are the Party of Principle.
- We are the Party that works hard to ensure reproductive rights for women, inclusion in all parts of society for the LBGTQ+ community, promotion of civil rights for immigrants and newly adopted Americans and protections for the working class in all our communities.
We can and we will succeed in defending our democracy, in lifting all people to equality in all facets of our nation, and in holding the House, the Senate and the White House in defense of the greatest democracy ever conceived.
Let us recommit to our Party, our Principles, and the work needed to ensure our victory!"
